There are No Salvageable Parts

Benjamin Niespodziany

a cento

Never mind what this has to do with wolves. Somewhere in your absence a cricket is lapping up the snow. Birds fly into the picture window and die. There are no salvageable parts. It smells like decay. The salads don’t help. Because the sky looks painted, people on the beach crane their necks to look. The fishermen float over. They are a theater.
