By Chris Carosi

it was made to prove something

to throw away was to have it first

to be a trap kid in there

shouldering forgiveness

to win the whole love in a sedan in June

a blonde man in his 30s who worships his father

a name he gave me protection from death

I seek in the book a protection from self

protect me from extension, remorse

rising in my throat

a blade of cloth
