Congratulations to Monica Macansantos (“The Day I Was a Comfort Woman,” Issue 4),
who was recently awarded a Victoria Doctoral Scholarship
by the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand,
where she will be starting a PhD in Creative Writing
at their International Institute of Modern Letters.
She will also hold a residency at Hedgebrook this year.
